On rare occasions the Edge Auth Server may become inaccessible, which prevents users from using their PIN to log into their account.
You can still log in with your full username and password (this works even when the auth server has issues) or with biometrics such as fingerprint. Exit PIN login by tapping Exit at the upper left.
Do not uninstall when you cannot log in with PIN alone. Uninstalling can trigger an Authorize Device (IP Validation) lockout and prevent access for at least 7 days, even with valid credentials.
If you must log in from this device after reinstalling in the future, enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) and save your backup code while still logged in — the backup code can bypass the wait. See Edge Security: IP Validation and 2FA.
For camera or troubleshooting steps that mention clear cache or reinstall, see Warning: Don't Uninstall Edge Without Your Login Credentials and 2FA Backup.
