BNB Beacon Chain sunsetting: Migrate Assets

Update Nov 19, 2024:
BNB Beacon Chain Final Sunset Fork has been completed by Binance and the BNB Beacon wallets in Edge are no longer functional.
If you still have some BNB Beacon chain, unfortunately you can no longer migrate to Smart Chain by sending a transaction from Edge. However, you might still be able to recover them using this Binance tool: https://docs.bnbchain.org/bc-fusion/post-fusion/token-recovery/#step-1-connect-to-your-bc-wallet

BNB Beacon Chain (BEP2) will sunset this year (2024) according to a Binance announcement.
If you have funds in a Binance Beacon Chain wallet, be sure to swap your BNB Beacon Chain to BNB Smart Chain before it's too late! The chain will be deprecated meaning it will not function after this event.

The official 'chain fusion' page from Binance now has a count-down timer for the sunsetting Beacon chain. Failure to move assets before 14 July 2024 will likely result in a permanent loss of value.
