What is Duress Mode?
Duress Mode allows you to log into a decoy account using a special duress PIN. This mode is completely separate from your main account and gives you a safe way to handle situations where someone is forcing you to open your wallet.
When you log in with your duress PIN:
- The wallet looks, feels, and functions like normal.
- Only the duress balance will appear.
- Only the decoy wallets you create in your duress account will be displayed.
- You can still perform real transactions on the decoy wallets.
*Important: Duress Mode transactions are real and irreversible. We recommend only adding small amounts to the duress account.
When to Use Duress Mode
- If someone physically forces you to unlock your device.
- When you’re under surveillance and asked to show your wallet.
