Firstly, Your funds are safe!
Edge can not synchronize with the BTG blockchain, as the node operator that allowed our implementation of BTG to function smoothly, is offline. We've not yet found a long-term solution for this sync issue and so have indefinitely paused all BTG wallets.
Thanks to decentralization, there are still several working wallet clients that can be used to access your BTG . Edge is a self-custody wallet, which means only YOU are "holding your own keys," which means only you can (recreate) access your cryptocurrency. You may accomplish this by exporting your BTG private seed phrase from Edge into an operational client, following the steps below:
Exporting your Bitcoin Gold seed from Edge
Login into Edge
Tap "Assets" located within the bottom navigation bar
Hold-down on your BTG wallet and select Get Raw Keys from the options
Input your Password and safely write down your 24-word seed phrase
Note if the "coinType" is something other than 236
